Wendy Hansson is the GPSC’s new Ministry of Health co-chair. The Senior Strategic Advisor for the Primary Care Access Branch with a strong track record as a strategic thought leader and relationship builder, Wendy has an extensive background in provincial and regional senior leadership roles in clinical operations, systems and cultural transformation, financial/capital and strategic planning, and policy development.
Wendy succeeds Mark Armitage, who joined the Ministry of Health’s Health Human Resources Branch after about 18 months of service to the GPSC. The committee thanks Mark for his dedication and contribution to the collaborative work of the government and Doctors of BC.
